EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

We firmly believe and are of the considered opinion that extra curricular activities in contemporary times are almost as important as the Curriculum itself, in moulding and shaping the careers of the students.
Hence, every minute care is taken in providing those additional and extra inputs which would help in developing the over all personality of the students. Precisely having this mind, we also include all those aspects as part of the extra curricular activities, which would be provided to students in finishing schools considering the fact that the students are doing their Master's Program and would be in pursuit of placements soon after.

Guest Lectures
The institution on a regular basis organizes guest lectures of eminent and distinguished personalities drawn from both academics as well as Industry. These additional inputs help the students in expanding their vistas of thought and widen their perception.
These interactive sessions with experienced people who have excelled in their own sphere of work has beyond doubt proved extremely helpful for the students, as it supplements to what is being taught to them in class.

Students Seminars
After completion of a unit or two in every subject taught, students are made to present a seminar. As the onus is put on the student they refer to several reference books and national and international journals available in our Library and also the Internet. This extensively prepares the student subject wise and they in the process shed all their fears and inhibitions, which consequently enhances their level of confidence.

Quiz Programs
Like incase of student seminars, even in Quiz, the students are divided into teams and then tested in the topics taught to them and also in current affairs. This besides the regular unit test is a litmus test to guage the students in what has been already taught in the class.

Personality Development and Communication Improvement Program
The institution recognises the ever growing significance of personality development and communication skills in the emerging global scenario today.
In order to make our students acceptable and employable, the institution takes up several programs for developing the personality of the students to developing their communication skill sets.
Eminent people from the field are invited to speak to the students individually and guide them in preparing their Curriculum Vitae's, besides train them to face interviews by organizing mock sessions. Having the present day requirements in mind, the students are groomed and prepared to face corporate interviews. This exercise considerably enhances the level of confidence of the students thereby helping them achieve their full potential and making them fully employable.

Industrial Visits
The students are regularly taken on visits to industries, to enable them they get exposure to industries. These visits and interactions help the students get a practical insight into the working of industries thereby enhancing their horizons and perception about Industry.
We have found these visits to serve a very useful purpose.
The Students visited MICO - BOSCH (Motor Industries Co. LTD.) Bangalore and Mysugar Factory, Mandya, Mysore.
