Presidency Degree College & Post Graduate
Centre, affiliated to Osmania University,
Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and recognized by All
India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
is a highly regarded co-educational
institution, was
established by M/s. Golconda Education
society in 1989. The initial courses
offered were B.Sc (Computer Science) and B.Com. |
In the year 1991, when Osmania University introduced
the Program of Master’s in Computer Science,
Hyderabad Presidency College was amongst the
very few colleges, which started the program in
the same academic year.
Subsequently the College introduced the Postgraduate
Diploma Program in Information Systems and
Computer Applications in the year 1992.
Once
again Hyderabad Presidency College was amongst the
earlier colleges, which started the “Master’s
Program in Business Administration” with the
affiliation of Osmania University and the approval
of the All India Council for Technical Education.
In due course of time the college initiated
several other new courses like the “Bachelors in
Computer Applications” and Post Graduate Courses
in Computer Science and Mathematics etc.

situated at Puppalguda in the Vicinity of the
Historical Golconda Fort and the architectural
marvel of the Qutub Shahi Tombs. |
